NEW PRESS AND GRANDKIDS

My new etching press has arrived and I'm hoping to test it out this afternoon. I saved the final run of my last reduction linocut just to see how the new press will work.

Here is one of my older prints plus a new photo of Liam and Levi.

PASTELS AND PRESSES

The last couple of weeks have been filled with coaching baseball. I'm a high school coach here in Big Bear and we are in the middle of league play. Still trying to find time for my art. Finished a pastel that I started and then set aside. Also ordered a new etching press. Pretty excited about that!

The world lost Levon Helm yesterday. My son's generation doesn't know what they missed.

FAVORITE

I started this pastel just to kill time because I didn't want to start a big project. Turns out that it is my favorite drawing. Maybe it's just the subject. My grandson Levi is becoming a person to be reckoned with!!

I have been out of Big Bear the last few days at a tournament with my baseball team. No studio time but I did bring along some scratchboard so I can doodle at the hotel in the evenings.
