Finished a new pastel drawing (I never know if they should be called drawings or paintings) last night. It's on Canson Pearl paper and it's larger than my scanner, so this is just part of the drawing.
I'd call this one a painting, because you're doing a lot more with the colors than drawing--ties it to approach. And I like the composition you're presenting here. Has a kind of abstract quality. How much got cut off? Regardless, this is another great piece, John, no doubt. Regards.
I studied art many, many years ago, then drifted away from it pursuing a living. Ten years ago, through a love for photography, I revisited my art and creative side.
In this new adventure, I discovered printmaking. Linocuts and woodblock work hold so many surprises for me.

William...once again, thanks for the comments. As you know, it's great to get feedback.
Lost about 2 inches all around in the scanning.
That picture makes me want to float in that boat. Nice job!
